Returns and Refunds Policy

1. Your Rights Under the Consumer Protection Act
In terms of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), you have the right to return goods and receive a refund, replacement, or repair under certain circumstances. This policy sets out how to exercise those rights.
2. 30-Day Return Window
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided:
- The item is in its original, unused condition
- All original packaging, accessories, and documentation are included
- The item is not excluded under Section 5 of this policy
3. Defective or Damaged Goods (CPA Section 56)
If a product is defective, unsafe, or not fit for purpose within 6 months of delivery, you are entitled to:
- A repair
- A replacement
- A full refund

4. How to Initiate a Return
- Email customerservice@farmhousekitchenandbath.co.za with:
- Your order number
- The reason for return
- Photos of the item (if damaged or defective)
- We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging
- A courier will be arranged to collect the item, or we will provide a return address
5. Refund Timeline
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of us receiving the returned item
- Refunds are made to the original payment method via PayFast
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product
6. Exclusions
The following items cannot be returned unless defective:
- Items that have been used, installed, or altered
- Custom or special-order items
- Items without original packaging or missing accessories
- Items returned after 30 days (unless defective under CPA Section 56)
